Frequently Asked Questions

How much will my first visit cost?

[Answer]

How long will my visit be?

For a new patient visit, you can expect about an hour and a half for the full exam, x-rays and treatment discussion. With a cleaning, your visit will take at least two hours. Please let us know if you are interested in a cleaning when scheduling your visit so we can reserve time with the hygienist for you.

Are dental X-rays safe?

Patients are understandably concerned about being exposed to radiation. However, the amount of radiation from a dental x-ray is minimal, making them safe for both children and adults when done properly. X-rays are important when diagnosing any issues you may have with your mouth.

Dental x-rays while pregnant are also safe with proper shielding. Please let your dentist know if you are pregnant.

Can I be "knocked out" for my procedure?

While we do not put any of our patients to sleep during procedures, we do offer conscious sedation to help you relax during your visit. We do our best to make your treatment comfortable and as pain-free as possible.

Do you take payments?

Many of our patients make payments using CareCredit. Click here to learn more.

I don't have insurance. Do you finance?

We have CareCredit available to our patients to help finance treatment. Click here to learn more.

I have a dental emergency and can't get a hold of a dentist. What should I do?

We’ll always try to help out with dental emergencies during our regular office hours. If you’re having a problem on weekends or evenings, we’ll try to provide you necessary help to get you through to the next business day. If you have a problem that just can’t wait, we recommend that you go to an urgent care facility or the emergency room.
